About this Park

*** ADVISORY: A project to install vehicular barriers at Kea‘au Beach Park is scheduled to begin Monday, Feb. 27, 2023. No park or campground facilities are expected to be closed as a result of this project, but the work will be impacting areas near the campsites. The work is scheduled to be finished in about four months. Mahalo for your understanding.

• REITERATION: The maximum number of persons per camping permit is ten (10). All other campground procedures and rules apply. All City campsites are closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Beautiful ocean for the experienced only, please. Driving to the campsite or in the campground is not permitted. Please park vehicles on the road or in the parking lot. A printed permit is required to camp in this park. A camping permit for this location is effective Friday at 8 a.m. until Wednesday at 8 a.m.. All fees are non-refundable.
